Today I’m in your inbox with a big thank you. This year I’ve been focussed on making art, and that’s been made possible because of the support from you.

Making art is hard, though very rewarding. It’s been a very challenging year for me, and for many of you as well I can imagine. There’s been months where I thought I should quit, and there’s been months where I couldn’t imagine ever doing something else. I’ve grown a lot as a person and artist this year, and I feel more confident than ever claiming that I am an artist. This is huge for me, it turns out you absolutely can and should give yourself permission to make art.

See this as an invite to make something yourself as well, and share it with someone. Maybe make your own holiday cheer cards, or make a portrait of your family’s or friends’ pet as a gift for under the tree.

Hope you’ll have a great end of the year.
